Abstract:

The Defense sector is one of the most strategic and important sectors in our country. The performance of the Defense sector is tied to the Supply Chain performance to a large extent. In the military Supply Chain, the ability to protect the Chain against unexpected events and maintain the continuity of network operations at a desirable level is very significant; in some ways, it can be said that the proper resilience of the Defense Supply Chain is one of the essential features it is considered for that. Hence, the aim of the research is to provide a resilient Defense Supply Chain model. In this research, after reviewing theoretical fundamentals of research and opinion polls by experts, nine dimensions and related components were identified as resilient defensive Supply Chain enablers. In the next step, applying Structural-Interpretative Modeling (ISM), the relationship between Enablers of the resilient Defense Supply Chain was determined and by leveling these dimensions, the research model was drawn. The results of the research showed that the two dimensions of "learning" and "collaboration" and then "risk management culture" and "contingency planning" have the highest priority in achieving a resilient Defense Supply Chain.

Abstract:

Background and objective: One of the main challenges of the industry is the provision of financial resources. This issue has doubled these challenges in government industries, including the Defense industry, due to the budget restrictions that have occurred in recent years. On the other hand, strengthening the country's Defense base depends on the provision of new and innovative Defense items, and the development of the Defense industry depends on the provision of stable financial resources. Chain financing is a creative approach that companies use to allocate financial resources and optimize financial flows in the Supply Chain. This approach aims to reduce costs, increase profitability and efficiency of the organization as much as possible. Method: In this research, first, the models and tools of Defense financing in the country and its comparative study with the top Defense countries of the world were conducted, and then interviews were conducted with experts, and then by implementing the Delphi method, binomial test, and one-sample t-test, financing methods were confirmed. Then the approved methods were ranked and selected using the best-worst multi-criteria decision-making technique. Findings: investment methods from partnership with the private sector and outsourcing, increasing revenues through market development and exporting weapons and military products, increasing revenues through product diversification and dual-purpose, reducing costs through redesigning research and Innovation with effective communication with knowledge bases, production of non-productive assets (sale or lease of extra assets and turning them into profitable assets) are respectively the five priorities of experts to provide financial resources from operational, investment and financing activities.

Abstract:

The purpose of this paper is to identify and analyze Supply Chain operational disruptions of a Defense organization through interpretive structural modelling. In the first step, by reviewing the literature, Supply Chain-related disruptions were counted. Then, by conducting field research and consulting experts, disruptions appropriate to the operational clothing Supply Chain of a Defense organization were identified. Then, by using interpretive structural modelling (ISM), the degree of dependence and stimulus of disruptions and their internal relationships were obtained in seven stages. Disruptions related to MICMAC analysis were classified into four categories: autonomic, dependent, connective, and stimulus. According to the results of this study, the disruptions of "war and terrorist attacks" and " Coronavirus outbreak " in the fourth region, have the most influence and actually stimulate the rest of the disruptions. Six of the disruptions were located in the first region, the autonomous region, and "delayed delivery" disruptions was the most dependent possible disruption in the second region.

Abstract:

Given the importance of the Supply Chain for gaining competitive advantage, competition between organizations is said to have been replaced by competition between Supply Chains. Therefore, Supply Chain Effective management is a key factor in the success of the organization. Disruptions as the outcome of unexpected events are an inseparable part of the Supply Chain of today's organizations operating in conditions of uncertainty. A resiliency approach in Supply Chain management has been introduced to deal with these unexpected events in the Supply Chain and to improve it quickly and return it to its original state before the occurrence of the event. The role of Defense products in enhancing deterrence against military threats, well shows up the importance and necessity of applying a resilient approach to Supply Chain management of Defense industries. In this paper, with the aim of developing a Defense industry Supply Chain resonance model, we first identified the most important Supply Chain resilience practices, then classified them using exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, and then, using interpretive structural modeling (ISM) provides a model that illustrates the relationship between these actions. The power of driving and dependence of practices are also analyzed using the MICMAC technique. The results of the research show that out of a total of 37 practices introduced in the previous research for the resilient Supply Chain, 19 practices are effective in the resilient Supply Chain of Defense industries. It consists of 5 categories and includes: Relationship with the suppliers, Flexibility, Agility, Redundancy and Security. Relationship with the suppliers as the most basic and most driving practice and Agility, Redundancy and Security are the most dependent practices of the Defense industries resilient Supply Chain. Therefore, managers first of all should focus on effectively communicating with suppliers in order to enhance Supply Chain resilience.

Abstract:

In recent years, distribution system of goods and services specifically in domestic Chain stores lack efficiency and effectiveness according to a developing economy and urban life. One of the best strategies to improve the Chain store's performance is Supply Chain management (SCM). So this study tries to extend previous SCM approach by presenting a new framework.Relevant researches in this field; emphasized that new dimensions such as Supply Chain institualization and integration, leadership, culture of competitiveness and knowledge acquisition besides of conventional aspect(such as processes, financial, etc)have positive impact in Supply Chain performance. In other words this framework contain following steps. First we develop the new approach to calculate the weights of criterion of the SCM excellence model, then, we evaluate the casual relationship between these criterions. Finally we synthesize above mentioned steps to achieve Supply Chain Critical Path Excellence (SCCPE).

Abstract:

Expansive economic, production and commercial development today has made businesses and enterprises to have active presence and contribution in network-based and Chain economy. Although focusing on this approach has brought some privileges and productivities for the firms which are members of networks and Supply Chains, it has been accompanied by various problems and complexities for financial crisis management, cash flow and flow capital amount of the foundations and their commercial partners. To overcome such problem, besides developing the concepts of Supply Chain management and logistics, Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) was also promoted to minimize inefficiencies of financial flow in Supply Chain using financial, engineering and management approaches, and to provide an effective management ground for cash inventory and flow capital all throughout the Supply Chain by making use of various tools and techniques of Supply Chain finance and/or SCF.Thus, regarding the significance of financial flow management in the Chain and benefitting the principles and fundamentals of research by fact finding and case study, it was tried to present a framework to make use of financial flow management and its principles and fundamentals effectively by reviewing evidences as well as applicable experiences in this area. The present paper emphasized that as logistic services providers are responsible in Supply Chains to improve inventory level; financial services providers also have the same role concerning liquidity level in the Chains.
